Workout details

Duration, distance, pace, elevation gain, route profile and equipment.

Written by Romain Malbreil

On the Plan a training page, the details section carries the volume of the workout: how long, what distance, what terrain, what kit. Those values feed your athlete's calendar and their load tracking.

1. The volume

Duration

Hours, minutes and seconds, in three boxes.

Distance (km)

The total distance.

Pace

Calculated from the two above. You can also type it in: the others adjust.

💡 Tip

If you build the workout with steps, do not fill these fields by hand: the Force workout duration and Force the distance of the workout options fill them from the builder.

2. The terrain

Elevation gain (m) expects the total positive elevation.

Route profile describes the shape of the terrain. Four values:

  • Flat;

  • Hilly;

  • Pass ascent;

  • Steep climb.

3. Equipment

The Equipments field states the kit needed: a particular bike, a pair of shoes, an indoor trainer. Your athlete sees it on their workout card and knows what to get ready.

The manage link, next to the label, opens the list of your equipment so you can add to it or remove from it.

📌 Good to know

These values are forecasts. Once the workout is done, Nolio compares it with what your athlete actually did: it is the gap between the two that makes the tracking readable. A planned duration left empty is one comparison lost.
