Workout general information

Title, sport, colour, date, tags and recurrence: what identifies a workout in the calendar.

Written by Romain Malbreil

On the Plan a training page, the General information section sets the frame of the workout. This information is visible in your athlete's calendar.

It lets you:

  • identify the workout clearly;

  • choose the sport it belongs to;

  • schedule it in time;

  • find it again easily thanks to colours and tags.

Title

The Title field is the name of the workout. It shows in your athlete's calendar and in your own coach library.

Sport

The Sport field sets the discipline attached to the workout. The sport you choose decides:

  • the units used (pace, speed, power…);

  • the intensity zones offered in the workout builder.

Color

The Color identifies the workout visually in the calendar. Use it to tell training types apart at a glance and make the schedule easier to read.

Date

The Date field places the workout on a given day. It then appears automatically in the calendar of the athletes concerned.

The clock icon also lets you set the start time.

💡 Tip

Fill the time in if your athlete has synced their Nolio calendar with their Google calendar: the workout will land in the right slot.

Moment of day

Under the date, five buttons place the workout roughly in the day: morning, midday, afternoon, evening, or nothing at all. It is a marker for your athlete, not an exact time.

Tags

Tags categorise workouts: endurance, intensity, recovery. They make it easier to filter workouts in the calendar and to look at how training types are spread out.

Recurrence

Recurrence automatically schedules a workout that comes back over several weeks. Useful for training routines, fixed weekly sessions and regular cycles.
