Repeat a workout: recurrence

Repeat a workout at a regular interval, on the days you choose, until the date you set.

Written by Romain Malbreil

When a workout comes back at a regular interval, you do not need to copy it. The Recurrence switch, on the planning page, repeats it for you until the date you set.

1. Turning recurrence on

  1. Open the Plan a training page.

  2. Under Moment of day, turn on Recurrence.

Three settings appear under the switch. That is your signal the recurrence has been taken into account.

2. The frequency

The frequency field expects a number and a unit. 1 and weeks give a weekly workout, 2 and weeks one every other week.

3. The days

Repeat on shows the seven days of the week. The day of your workout is already selected. Click other days to have the workout fall several times in the same week.

💡 Tip

This is where you set a rhythm, not a single workout. Three days ticked and a frequency of one week give three workouts a week, all identical, until the recurrence ends.

4. The end

Two ways to bound the series, under Ends, and you pick one or the other.

  • a date: you give the day it stops;

  • a number of weeks: Nolio then shows the calculated date next to it, under Will end the.

5. Editing or deleting a recurring workout

When you open a workout that belongs to a series, Nolio asks whether your change applies to that occurrence alone or to the whole series. Same question when you delete.

📌 Good to know

Read the question before you confirm: a change applied to the whole series overwrites the occurrences you had adjusted one by one.
