Two different problems hide behind "it's not coming through": the workout doesn't arrive at all, or it arrives without its heart rate data. The causes are not the same.
What you notice | Likely cause |
The workout doesn't appear | The request quotas imposed by Strava. |
The workout is there, but without heart rate | A missing permission on Strava's side. |
1. The workout doesn't arrive: Strava quotas
Strava limits us to a set number of requests. When this cap is reached, workouts may not come through, or may come through late.
The most reliable fix: connect your watch's platform directly instead of going through Strava. Garmin, Suunto, Polar, Coros and others feed Nolio without this middleman.
2. The workout is there but without heart rate: permissions
If your workout appears in Nolio without heart rate data even though the curve exists on Strava, it's almost always a data access permission that hasn't been granted.
In Strava, go to Settings, then Data Permissions, and grant access to Nolio.
📌 Good to know
This permission is set in Strava, not in Nolio. Once granted, it applies to future workouts: workouts already imported don't get their heart rate back retroactively.
3. The fallback: manual import
In any case, you can retrieve a workout manually. Export it from Strava in .tcx or .fit format, then import it into Nolio.
