A template is a workout you build once and place as many times as you like, on whoever's calendar you like. Templates live in the left panel of the calendar, under the layers tab.
1. The templates panel
Three tabs decide what you see:
Personal: your templates;
Team: the ones shared with the other coaches;
Nolio: the ones shipped with the platform.
Below that, a search field, then your categories, which open and close, with the templates they hold. Each template shows its name and its duration.
2. Creating a template
Click Add, at the top of the panel.
Choose Training.
The Add a training template window opens. It carries the whole workout builder: you place your steps, your exercises and your options exactly as you would on a calendar workout.
The Category field is required: it is what files the template in the panel.
💡 Tip
The Add menu does not only create workouts. It also places a Competition, a Note, a Cycle, a Message, a Form, or a new Category to file them all.
3. Placing a template on the calendar
Drag the template from the panel onto the day you want. The workout is created with all its content, and you can then adjust it without touching the original template.
4. What you can do with a template
Hover a template in the list: two icons appear to the right of its name.
The pencil opens the template for editing.
The three dots open a menu.
Action | What it does |
See more | Opens the template read-only, with no risk of changing it. |
Duplicate as a personal template | Makes a copy of it in your personal library. |
Duplicate as a team template | Makes a copy of it in your team's library. |
Delete | Removes the template. Workouts already placed on calendars do not move. |
📌 Good to know
Duplicate as a team template is how you share a template. Once copied, it lives its own life: changing your personal version does not change the team's.
