Using supersets

Chain several exercises with no recovery in between: strength work, circuit training, Hyrox and cross-training.

Written by Romain Malbreil

A superset lets you chain several exercises with no recovery in between. You add it from the Add button in the builder, and the recovery goes at the end of the block rather than between each movement.

It's the right block for:

  • strength work;

  • circuit training;

  • Hyrox or cross-training sessions.

Setting up a superset

Inside a superset, you can:

  • add as many exercises as you need;

  • configure each exercise individually;

  • place the recovery outside the superset.

What your athlete sees

The exercises in the block run back to back with no rest, then the block's recovery applies once, at the end.

💡 Tip

Don't mix up superset and repeat. A superset chains different exercises; a repeat replays an identical block several times. You can combine the two: put a superset inside a repeat for a circuit to run 4 rounds.
