Moving a workout in the calendar

Written by Romain Malbreil

You can move a planned workout from one day to another directly from your calendar, as long as your coach has enabled the option on your athlete info. This page shows you:

  • how to move a workout;

  • why it may be blocked on your account;

  • what your coach needs to do to unlock the option.

1. How to move a workout

From the planned calendar, grab the workout with your cursor and drag it to the day of your choice. The move is instant and your coach sees the change on their side.

Action

How

Drag and drop

Click the workout, hold, move it to another day, release.

Undo a move

Drag the workout back to its original date the same way.

💡 Tip

Moving also works between weeks visible on screen. Switch to the 3-month view to reorganize several workouts at once.

2. Why you can't move it

If you see a message like "the coach doesn't allow this workout to be modified", it's not a bug. It's a setting on your athlete info on the coach's side, turned off by default. Your coach decides, for each athlete on their team, whether or not to allow workouts to be moved.

📌 Good to know

Moving workouts is a per-athlete setting, not a global Nolio setting. Two athletes with the same coach can have different settings.

3. Where your coach turns on the option

Ask your coach to go to your athlete info and follow this path:

Step

Action

1

From their coach space, open your athlete info.

2

Options tab (next to General, Memos, Debrief).

3

Planned calendar section → Moving workouts subsection.

4

Turn on the "Authorize the moving of workout planned in the calendar" toggle.

5

Click Save in the bottom right.

Once saved, drag and drop works immediately on your calendar, no reload needed.
