How does the metrics page work?

The four metric categories, how to track how they change over time, and what coaches can see in addition.

Written by Romain Malbreil

Metrics let you track your progress, but they also feed into the calculation of your zones and your loads. That makes them central to the analysis. You'll find them all on the metrics page.

The four categories

Category

What it covers

Health

Your general condition: sleep, step count, calories burned…

Heart

Everything related to heart rate: Max HR, resting HR…

Performance

Your physical capacities, across all sports: VMA, FTP (cycling or running), max aerobic power…

Fitness

Readiness indicators, such as Garmin's Body Battery or Whoop's Recovery.

You can also create custom views and your own metrics.

Track a metric over time

Whether the metric is entered manually or comes in automatically, you can view how it changes over time.

  1. Click the row of the category you want.

  2. A panel opens below: choose the chart or table view.

You can change the time range to isolate a specific period or smooth out the reading.

For coaches

As a coach, you can view your athletes' metrics, edit them, and compare their values with each other.
