Which Bluetooth devices are compatible with HRV measurement?

Only Bluetooth heart rate straps that support R-R intervals allow HRV measurement in Nolio.

HRV measurement is done from the Nolio mobile app, with a Bluetooth heart rate strap. It's the only type of compatible device today.

​Armbands and optical watch sensors are not compatible. HRV measurement needs R-R intervals, which these sensors don't transmit.

The criterion to check

Any strap that supports R-R intervals works with Nolio. This is the case for most recent models: if you're unsure, look for this mention in the product specifications.

Models that work well

  • Polar H10

  • Polar H7

  • Garmin HRM Pro

  • Garmin HRM Dual

  • Suunto Smart

  • Sigma R1 (Duo or Bluetooth)

  • Zephyr HxM (make sure it's Bluetooth Smart 4.0, not 2.0)

This list is not exhaustive: other straps work too, as long as they transmit R-R intervals.
