Nolio lets you automate your athletes' payments: you set a monthly price, and the payment renews on its own. Banking transactions go through Stripe.
1. Prerequisites
Before you can collect anything, you need to:
create a Stripe account linked to Nolio, from this page;
enter a Billing address, in the same place.
📌 Good to know
Validating your Stripe account can take several days. You'll receive an email once everything is approved: plan ahead if you want to start subscriptions on a specific date.
2. Start a subscription
Go to your team's administration page, then:
Choose an athlete.
Click Subscription.
Enter a Monthly price.
Click Start subscription.
Your athlete receives an alert in Nolio and an email inviting them to enter their payment details. Once the subscription has started, they are charged the chosen amount every month, on the start date.
3. Change or suspend
Action | What happens |
Suspend | The subscription ends on the originally scheduled next billing date. |
Change price | The athlete receives a notification. The change only takes effect once they accept it. |
4. If a payment fails
If a payment fails, for example because the card has expired, the subscription switches to Failed. You can decide in advance what should happen.
Option | Effect |
Hide scheduled sessions | Gives the athlete time to update their card before losing access to their schedule. |
Pause | The athlete leaves your team and joins your list of Paused athletes. Paused athletes don't count toward your team's headcount. |
